The Atlanta Falcons will place fullback Ovie Mughelli on season-ending injured reserve, Fox Sports reporter and NFL Network contributor Jay Glazer reported Tuesday. It's a tough blow for the Falcons, as Mughelli is a critical piece to the success of running back Michael Turner and the Falcons' ground game. Mughelli suffered a season-ending injury to his right knee during the Falcons' Sunday victory over the Detroit Lions. The details of Mughelli's injury aren't known, and the Falcons have yet to make an announcement, as the NFL doesn't require teams to provide injury updates during their bye week. NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora reported that Jason McKie, Mike Karney and Lousaka Polite were among as many as five fullbacks working out for the Falcons on Tuesday, according to a league source.
