Defensive tackle Peria Jerry, the Falcons' first-round draft pick, left the field under his own power after banging his knee with another player about halfway through Saturday's morning practice. "He got banged up," Falcons coach Mike Smith said. "We don't know anything about it. He bumped knees, and we'll know something by the end of the day. They took him in the training room to ice him."

the falcons better hope he's not fragile. they need him to be a player and beef up the interior of their line, which was a huge weakness last year.
