Atlanta Falcons running back Jerious Norwood is out for the season, according to several reports. Norwood has a torn ACL and will be placed on injured reserve as early as Tuesday, Fox's Jay Glazer reports via Twitter. "I know that everybody is concerned about Jerious," coach Mike Smith said Monday. "He has had some evaluation this morning. We are going to continue to evaluate it and we hope to have more information on Wednesday." Norwood had been the top backup behind Michael Turner, who also was injured in Sunday's again against the Arizona Cardinals. Turner has a groin injury. Source: Sporting News
