Michael Turner took a positive step in returning from the ankle injury that kept him out of last week’s 34-31 overtime loss to the Giants on Wedneday, returning to the practice field for the first time as the Falcons returned from their off day. Turner, who sat out all three days of practice last week, was listed as taking part in a limited portion of the session. “He took some reps and hopefully we’ll get a good read on him after practice and then tomorrow,†coach Mike Smith told the team’s official Web site. “… This is the first time he’s come out in practice conditions and gotten some reps, so it will be really evaluated very closely this afternoon and tomorrow and we’ll see where he is tomorrow when he comes in.†Source: NFL.com
