The Falcons, in need of offensive line help, signed veteran tackle Jeremy Trueblood, formerly of the Washington Redskins and Tampa Bay Buccaneers, on Tuesday.

The team also released rookie tackle Terren Jones and waived/injured guard Phillipkeith Manley, who suffered a left ankle injury in practice on Monday.

Jones, an undrafted rookie free agent from Alabama State, could be re-signed to the practice squad if he clears waivers.

With the inexperienced Lamar Holmes running with the first team at right tackle and the lack of experience behind him, the Falcons were looking for some veteran help.

Trueblood, 30, was released by the Redskins when they cut down to 75 players.
