Falcons tight end Tony Gonzalez signed a one-year extension on Saturday, Jay Glazer of FOXSports.com reports. According to Glazer, the extension is worth $7 million. Gonzalez is earning a $5.75 million base salary in 2011 and was scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent in 2012. The 35-year-old future Hall of Famer has caught 79 passes for 867 yards and seven touchdowns this season, earning his 12th trip to the Pro Bowl.
