Falcons To Give RB Jerious Norwood More Carries In '09

ESPN.com's Pat Yasinkas reports that Falcons RB Jerious Norwood was getting some first-team working as the Falcons rested Michael Turner some and it could be a sign of things to come. One high-ranking person with the Falcons told Yasinkas that "The last thing we want is Michael having to carry 375 times again." Turner's still going to get a bunch of carries, but there's going to be a conscious effort to get Norwood a bit more involved.
