Falcons cornerback Chris Owens, a third round draft pick from Fresno State, could become the fourth player to start on the left side this season. Tye Hill and Brent Grimes have struggled in man-to-man coverage and Owens is a physical corner with good speed. The Falcons have been bringing him along slowly and letting him get an understanding of the defense.
