Thomas Williams, the father of Cardinals nose tackle Dan Williams was killed in a car accident this weekend while driving from Memphis to New Orleans to see his son play, a team spokesman said. Williams’ mother and a sister were also in the car, and they survived. Williams did not make the trip to New Orleans with the team and is inactive today. Ronald Talley is expected to start today against the Saints. Williams is from Memphis and his family often travels to watch Williams play. Source: Arizona Republic
