2008 NFL First round draft was quicker than last season about half the time to be exact with the new 10 minute rule. Still was it as good as past drafts? I really do no think it was but I am not sure if it was because the players being selected were players that were just not fantasy impact players. 15 of the 31 players selected in this draft were Offensive or Defensive lineman something to be said about that I would think. I took the time to get my opinions on this draft and I hope you enjoy it.

Good stuff Mike. I happen to enjoy the draft a lot this season. Tons of action. You couldn't leave for 5 minutes or you'd miss something...

I absolutely loved this draft. The shorter times were great and the amount of trading being done was mind-numbing. I had to record it and couldn't watch until late Saturday night but even then I was "all jacked up on Mt Dew"! Well Coors light and Cuervo Gold in reality but it sounded good. This draft was great in terms of depth and good players, not really a lot of star, wow players but great none the less.

My favorite line from you mike is:
    I do to...he's played out!

I like the commentary. Very short, to the point and honest. Good Job.

    Nice read, mike!

As far as the Bears go, I think it was as good as it was gonna get for them. Drafting OT Chris Williams was a safe, quality pick.
