You never know anything is possible. Any rookie QB can be the next "big ben" I guess

I always see all these draft "experts" and such comparing up-and-coming QBs to proven veterans. Like why does Matt Ryan have to equal Matt Hasselbeck? I like to think that each QB is different and no two are the same.

I like to think of it more as comparing the type of QB they are not the quality of the QB they might be. For example, Brady compared to Montana because how well he carries himself and how calm he is in tough situations and just leads. Or how a QB in college was a pocket passer and they relate that to dan marino because thats what he did. I don't like when they say so and so will be the next Montana, Marino, or Favre. Rookies can have the same style of play, but they need to do something to set themselves apart somehow so they aren't always in another greats shadow

I'd like to see a few more weeks of production before he's compared to anything...

that's the problem with week one. Everyone assumes that opening weekend is how the season's gonna turn out for everyone. Losing on opening day isn't that big a deal.

It'll be exciting to see how him and his O-line handle the pressure coming from Mario Williams and co.
