Jad - I picked up Thomas Davis to play for Kuechly and now it looks like Luke will be out until after the week 5 bye, and Davis is less than 100%. So I will probably need someone else for week 4 and defitiely for week 5. On our waiver wire there are dozens of players, as there are only about 24 on rosters. The top four season scorers are three CBs and a safety. The highest scoring LB is Unga (vs. BUF). I have attached a list of the top IDPs available sorted by projected week4 points, and would appreciate your suggestions for the next two weeks. I assume you would agree on holding on to Luke until week 6. IDP: Tackle Solo 1; Tackle Assist 0.5; Sack 3; Interception 3; Force Fumble 2; Fumble Recovery 2; Defensive Touchdown 6; Safety 2; Pass Defended 1; Block Kick 2; Return yards 1 pt./20 yds.
Okay. can you do me a favor for the future. don't post projected points post either points scored or top 10 by position. (projected points on these sites are terrible) 1st) Check if Jordan hicks is there. (should have a big game) 2) Reshad Jones 3) Harrison Smith In that order.
Thanx, Jad. I'll remember that; it's easy enough to do. Hicks is there. I've had this idea since I started in this IDP league that it is not good when your IDP players are against a terrible offense because they are on the field a lot less. But perhaps that is crazy!
Yes when the offense is bad they are on the field more than the defense but that doesn't really mean much. Look at Paul Posluzny last week or Telvin Smith both on the Horrible Jaguars that got blown out. They both put huge numbers. But time on field for a defense does help stats...
That's the opposite of what I meant! My point is that when your IDP is playing AGAINST a terrible offense they are on the field a lot less and there are fewer tackles to go around. If they're ON a team with a terrible offense they are on the field a lot more. I think your examples make my point: there are only three plays on a three and out but a lot more tackles on a TD drive!
