Mark Brunell would "like to (play) another season," the free-agent quarterback told the New York Daily News Tuesday, a day after the Florida Times-Union reported he would retire. "If an opportunity came along, I would certainly consider it," the 19-year veteran said. "I definitely would like to (play) another season. No plans to retire yet." Brunell's agent, Bruce Tollner, echoed that sentiment, telling the New York Post that the former New York Jet wasn't retiring. "Most guys that have trouble leaving the game are in their 20s," Brunell told the Times-Union. "I've been preparing for football to be over with for quite some time." He added that he didn't "want to miss any more" of his boys' football games. Source: NFL.com
