After a day in the New York Giants’ rookie camp last week, free agent center Jamaal Jackson told coach Tom Coughlin that his heart wasn’t in it. It now appears his tone has changed. “I’m keeping my options open,†Jackson said Monday. “I don’t know what I’m going to do yet, so it’s kind of funny to keep hearing that I decided to retire. I’m leaning toward retiring, whatever. “The truth is I don’t know. I haven’t filed any papers. I haven’t made the decision, and I won’t until the summer. I don’t know what I’m going to do yet.†Jackson, who spent the 2003 through 2011 seasons with the Eagles, was released in March after losing his starting job to rookie Jason Kelce.
