Defensive lineman John Henderson will not be making his scheduled visit to see the Chiefs, at least not today as scheduled. The reason for the postponement, or cancellation, is unclear at the moment. Henderson was released by the Jacksonville Jaguars and is expected to get a lot of attention on the free agent market. Source: Kansas City Star
He said himself that he was visiting the Chiefs. He appeared on a local sports radio station in KC and confirmed via his own mouth that he was scheduled to visit the Chiefs. Something is strange here.
Probably not on Wednesday then. I don't think he ever mentioned exactly when he was going to visit Kansas City. The Giants did contact his agent and has a visit lined up with them, but the exact date is still unknown. Maybe he wants to hear from New York first before anyone else, given his ties with Tom Coughlin. Its seems at this point, with Atlanta dropping out, that the Giants and Chiefs are the most likely suitors for Henderson.
