The Washington Redskins are reported to be near signing Pat White as a potential backup quarterback. The move would come roughly six months after he joined the long line of former players suing the NFL for concussion-related injuries, according to Nathan Fenno of the Washington Times. White, a second-round draft pick of the Miami Dolphins in 2009, saw his playing career flame out quickly as he was released before the start of the 2010 season, according to the report, White alleged that he suffered “repeated and chronic head impacts†during his short NFL career that put him at risk for “latent brain disease.†In the lawsuit, White claimed he suffered permanent injuries, including “severe headaches, speech issues, memory loss, depression, isolation, mental anguish and diminished self-esteem.†He must be feeling better about himself now because Fenno reports that White dismissed his lawsuit on Tuesday and he was part of more than 4,000 former players involved in litigation against the NFL. that's lamosity. Did anyone actually prove that he had brain damage, or is he just crying over nothing?...
obviously he didn't or he wouldn't be coming back. coping with failure isn't brain damage, it just sucks rod.
Tim Tebow would be a better choice then Pat White ...if Tebow was available, Tebow is more accurate then Pat White and thats not saying much...lol,lol..
apparently, white is actually the 3rd player to do this ...... chukwara and romberg also have done this same thing. i don't see how this frivilous lawsuit hasn't already been thrown out of court. it's obviously just a huge money grab.
Nothing gets under CaptainStubing 's skin like a good old fashion concussion lawsuit lol
as far as i'm concerned, concussion lawsuits and killing puppies are on equal ground......... well, maybe it's not that bad but it's still pretty bad. :ranting:
"White claimed he suffered permanent injuries, including “severe headaches, speech issues, memory loss, depression, isolation, mental anguish and diminished self-esteem.†" Why would anyone sign someone that has these things listed on their resume? Personally, I would lmao if no body signed him, and he was NOT allowed back in the lawsuit!
