Talks between Ahmad Bradshaw and the Indianapolis Colts are heating up. NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Monday that Colts officials are in "heavy negotiations" with the former New York Giants running back, according to a source informed of the talks. After Bradshaw visited the Colts Thursday, NFL.com's Kimberly Jones reported that a deal was likely to happen, but those discussions reached a stalemate. Then Mike Chappell of The Indianapolis Star reported that Bradshaw and the team were still working Friday on possible deal to add the 27-year-old runner to a backfield led by Vick Ballard. The Colts want to be certain that Bradshaw's surgically repaired right foot and lingering lower-leg injuries won't get in the way of helping the team, when he's healthy, Bradshaw is a tough back uncowed by contact and in a complimentary role, this is a guy who still can bruise a defense.
