Former Pittsburgh Steelers running back Najeh Davenport chased a suspected car thief who, police said, drove off in his 1970 Chevrolet Impala when he left it running outside his Carrick home yesterday. The man sped off and struck four parked cars, police said, then got out of the totaled Impala and ran to the parking lot of Foodland on Brownsville Road, where Mr. Davenport and several witnesses held him until officers arrived. Mr. Davenport, who played off and on for the Steelers from 2006 to 2008 and is now running back for the Indianapolis Colts, told police that just before 1 p.m., he left the Impala running outside his house in the 200 block of East Meyers Street while he went inside to get something. so ur saying none of yall have got into your car...forgot something inside and left the car running to go in there real quick and get something??
i think everyone is overlooking the fact that it's awesome that davenport was driving a 1970 Chevy Impala. That kicks butt.
Nope never had once. From the title I almost thought he chased down the guy in his car not the guy who crashed it and then the professional RB ran down a thug on foot.
They fail to mention it was a 7 year old kid (reason for repeatedly running into the cars) who stole the car.
