San Francisco 49ers free agent receiver Tedd Ginn Jr. is going to visit the Detroit Lions either today or tomorrow, according to sources. The Lions are looking for a fourth receiver to play behind Calvin Johnson, Nate Burleson and Titus Young. Detroit had Maurice Stovall, Stefan Logan and Rashied Davis on its roster last season, but management decided to let each player test free agency and are looking in a different direction. Ginn, a former first round pick in 2007, could possibly replace Logan as Detroit's returner. He played for the Miami Dolphins from 2007 to 2009 before being traded to San Francisco for a fifth-round pick in 2010.

Only reason I see him becoming a Lions is to be a KR/PR. Not for his WR skills...

That's why he was successful in San Fran, they used him the right way as a KR unlike the Dolphins who wanted him to be a great WR, wasn't going to happen.

Man I kind of wish they would try to keep him. Hes a great returner and even though hes not a good full time receiver, you can run plays that get him the ball and he takes off! I remember they ran a couple of end arounds with him, it was basically 15-20 yards every time.

Edit: I just noticed the picture....WHY ARE YOUR EYES CLOSED GINN?
