The 37-year-old free agent told ESPN on Wednesday that he would be ready to play in "a month or less" after having surgery on a torn anterior cruciate ligament in April. Owens, who had 983 receiving yards and nine touchdowns for the Cincinnati Bengals last season, told the network that he would "be even better next year."
