Michael Vick threw for two touchdowns and ran for another, LeSean McCoy ran for 184 yards, and the Philadelphia Eagles unleashed coach Chip Kelly's frenetic offense on the NFL on Monday night with a 33-27 win over the Washington Redskins. Vick hit DeSean Jackson for a 25-yard TD and Brent Celek for a 28-yard score, then found the end zone himself on a 3-yard run -- and that was just the first half. congrats to the eagles for getting out to a fast start and holding on.this is gonna be the scariest team in the league this year barring a major injury on offense to macoy or vick.redskins got coached around like high school boys by the eagles tonight!
The last 5 minutes of that game seemed like they were never going to end. Congrats to Philly, but I kinda wonder why Kelly didn't stick Foles in with Vick gimping along and ineffective passing when they were +13. Vick ain't no spring chicken anymore and it's a long season.....IMO.

Vick is still inconsistent and ineffective when it counts and in the long run. he ran, got injured and couldn't convert 3rd and 15 with 2 incompletions. Same old flash in the pan Vick. Over an entire season I doubt the Eagles do that well.
Let off the gas on offense and played a weird form of prevent defense after 33 points that allowed every pass under 10 yards to be completed. Drove me up the god **mn wall. But a wise person once said, a win is a win. I'm excited for what both the offense and defense did in the first half although I admit that Griffin's nerves were probably more the cause of his ineptness than our D. There are some great things for Chip and his crew to take away and learn from this game. Both positives and negatives. It'll be interesting to see what he does next week.

Those lanes were just ridiculous. The Redskins were gassed on D. What you get with the Eagles is a track meet, people are going to need to scheme just to keep up. Vick still has his yips though.

Rg3 and the skins offense were obviously out of sync. The eagles looked good for week 1. After the 1st quarter, this game sucked. Oh, and also, CHIP KELLY !!!!!!
Redskins D buckled down after the first half. If the offense had been on point in the first half, they probably would've won the game. I'm not sold on the Eagles from this performance, but they could get better too
It was a good win for Philly. However, IMO, Vick can't take this kind of punishment over a 16-game regular season. He won't last that long. And, more offensive touches means an increased risk of injury to all of the offensive players, not just Vick.
Vick NEVER finished a whole season. It won't be the new offense that has him out of games. It's his inability to determine when to not take a hit.
That 1st half did the skins in. hopefully,they wake up and play like pros and win in green bay,but I can't see them winning sunday.they may go 1-3 by their bye week.
