Gary Kubiak is no longer the head coach of the Houston Texans. The change was made Friday morning. http://www.houstontexans.com/news/a...d-coach-/ad623c40-228f-4bdb-96bb-1940a618198c Gary Kubiak is no longer the head coach of the Houston Texans. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vcOoda0AAXw[/ame] HEADS ARE GONNA ROLL!!!!!!!
Other news on the topic: Wade Philips will be the interim coach. Rick Smith keeps his job. And losing a second time to Jacksonville is what put Bob McNair over the edge.
Kubiak blew any chance he had left when he pulled Keenum in the Oakland game, only for Schaub to blow it and get in a fight with Johnson after the game was over. What a waste. I had them as a possible playoff team this year.
Kubiak was finished as the Texans head coach when the players stopped playing for him.. I mean an 11-game losing streak with that roster? please with a 61-64 record and the November mini stroke, do you think he will land a new HC job?
Agree with Dawk. Thought he would end this season as the head coach. WHy bother doing it now with a couple games left...
To be honest, in past seasons it felt the Texans were winning in spite of Kubiak's coaching. Now though, what will the new coach be left with? Outside of the 1st Overall Pick, JJ Watt and a kneeless Brian Cushing?
And now it's time for my 4 favorite words of the English language: Wade Phillips, Head Coach (when he's not coaching the Cowboys, of course)
He wasn't the only reason the Cowtramps lost. I'd love to see him win the reason of the season though.
