Texans coach Gary Kubiak said at his weekly news conference today that receiver Andre Johnson is “fine†but remains a day-to-day issue as far his leg injury is concerned. Johnson got kicked in the shin during the Texans’ 30-9 loss at Baltimore. He tried to play but couldn’t help limping and was sent to the bench in the fourth quarter. He finished with five catches for 36 yards. “The X-rays were (negative),†Kubiak said. “He’ll be okay.†Kubiak was asked for a progress report on left tackle Duane Brown, who missed the Baltimore game because of a toe injury. “Duane went on the field today, but he’s still day-to-day,†Kubiak said about Brown.
