One day after telling center Shaun O'Hara that he'll be released, it appears the Giants have found his replacement. According to the Sacramento Bee, the Giants have agreed to terms on a new contract with veteran offensive lineman David Baas. The 29-year-old Baas is a six-year vet who has played both guard and center for the 49ers. He presumably will be the center with the Giants, but that is not official. If he does, then signing the 6-4, 330-pounder seemingly eliminates any chance of the 34-year-old O'Hara returning to the Giants at a lower salary. Source: NY Daily News
Wow that is bs. Thanks David, you were a bust the whole time until last year when we had the idea of moving you to center, then you sign somewhere else.
