Justin Tuck tried practicing on Thursday last week. It was seen as a positive step for the defensive captain — until after the practice, when Tuck was in serious pain. He suffered a setback in his recovery from a groin and neck injury and missed the Giants' loss to the Seattle Seahawks last week. Tuck learned his lesson from last week and missed today's practice. Last Thursday's experience is also fresh in his mind when understanding how the medical staff determines whether he'll play Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. "The concern is going back too early, like I did last week, and having another setback and not being able to play the week after the bye," Tuck said. "We'll take into account all of that."
