Giants defensive tackle Shaun Rogers has allegedly been burglarized, losing a load of jewelry worth nearly half of his NFL contract in 2013. According to CBS Miami, Rogers told police he had nearly $500,000 of jewelry stolen during a recent stay at the Fontainebleau Hotel in Miami Beach. Per the report, Rogers said he returned to his hotel room around 7 a.m. with his friends and a woman they met at a club, and put his jewelry in the room safe. When Rogers woke up a few hours later, he told police, both the woman and his jewelry -- including diamond earrings, a pair of watches and a diamond necklace -- were gone. Source: The Star-Ledger
Good, douchebag. I HATE when athletes have that much crap. People struggling working 2 jobs to make a living and these scumbags have millions in jewelry that they just leave around. Stupid, stupid. I hope he never gets it back and whoever jacked it buys a house with the money they get.
