Antrel Rolle intercepted two passes by Alex Smith, Prince Amukamara picked off another and the Giants shut down San Francisco in a 26-3 victory over the 49ers on Sunday in a rematch of last season's NFC championship game. After outscoring the Bills and Jets by a combined 79-3 the last two weeks, the 49ers (4-2) met their match again with Eli Manning and New York's top team. No overtime needed this time, and not much of Manning either. Manning threw for 193 yards and one touchdown, Ahmad Bradshaw ran for 116 yards and a score and the Giants (4-2) rode a dominant defense and four field goals by Lawrence Tynes to hand outspoken 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh the most lopsided loss of his tenure. My unbiased opinion: HUGE credit to the Giants coaches. They prepped and called an OUTSTANDING game. Its like they knew what was coming. The receivers also as always were so impressive, and although Eli started slow he did plenty enough to not only win, but win big against a supposedly impenetrable defense. When was the last time Alex threw 3 picks? Not only could they not get the run game going, but when you turn the ball over like that against this Giants team your chances of winning are damn near 0. My bias opinion: W-T-F WAS THAT? Couldn't get the run game going. 3 picks for Alex? The defense actually wasn't THAT bad. When you throw three freaking picks, and give the Giants field possession like that what do you expect??? And what was with taking those sacks???? Especially when your already outside the pocket? GET RID OF THE BALL! WHOS GOT IT BETTER THEN US?!?!? NEW YORK GIANTSSSSSS!!!
