Nearly six weeks after he was carted off the practice field with a sprained ankle, Giants safety Antrel Rolle still isn’t quite 100 percent. But it isn’t so much his ankle that’s bothering him now.

The pain is more in his foot.

The 30-year-old safety told the Daily News that the injury is “moreso my foot than my ankle†and “to this day, it still does bother me.†But he will be on the field when the Giants try to salvage their season in Carolina on Sunday afternoon, and he doesn’t plan or expect to miss any time at all.

“I think I already have in my mindset, listen, no matter what it is I’m going to tape it up, I’m going to play with it, I’m going to play through it,†Rolle told the News. “I would never, ever use it as an excuse for anything. I’m going to play. I’m going to fly around. Once the game is over I’ll ice it, I’ll have acupuncture, I’ll stretch it and so forth and so on.

“So it’s still a healing process because it was moreso my foot than my ankle. There are still times where it’s a little bit sore. It’s something you have to fight through. If I can be out there with my team, I’m going to be out there 10 out of 10 times.â€
