Michael Boley of the New York Giants has been suspended without pay for the teams first regular-season game of 2009 for violating the NFL Personal Conduct Policy. Boleys suspension begins on Saturday, September 5. He is eligible to return to the Giants active roster on Monday, September 14 following the teams September 13 game against the Washington Redskins. Goodell is the man. Lucky it's only a game. This is easy to take from an on the field standpoint since there was a chance he was going to miss the opener anyway. Now there is no need to rush anything, he can heal up and get prepared for week 2 @ Dallas.
