Giants running back Andre Brown has been placed on injured reserve-designated to return by the New York Giants,Conor Orr of the Newark Star-Ledger reports. The Giants running back Tweeted as much this afternoon, which confirmed the most likely scenario for the team after Brown went down with a fractured leg in New England. Brown, it appears, will be the team's IR player that has a designation to return. Each team gets one such designation and, according to a league source with knowledge of the situation, the spot was between Brown and David Diehl.
