The New York Giants have gone out and found some help at the wide receiver position. They’ve signed a crafty veteran to work the middle of the field as Brandon Stokley, the 35-year-old, has signed a contract, according to his agent Rick Smith. Stokley provides Eli Manning with a dependable target in the slot, something every quarterback needs. He played for the Seattle Seahawks last season and caught 12 passes for 158 yards and two touchdowns in two playoff games. The 13-year-pro has done it all and he was chosen over T.J. Houshmandzadeh, who also received a workout. Source: National Football Post
Nice pick up in comparison to Hixon and Cruz. Further cements the fact that the Giants botched the handling of Steve Smith.
