Giants safeties coach David Merritt said he does not know what to call the new defense defensive coordinator Perry Fewell is using but it is nothing like the Tampa 2 defense several expected him to bring, according to New York Daily News' Ralph Vacchiano. "I would label Coach Fewell as a multiple front, multiple-multiple coverage defensive coordinator. I mean, he is the furthest from a Tampa 2 guy. And to be honest with you, because of what he did in Chicago and being up (in Buffalo) under [head coach twinky Jauron], I thought he was going to be a Tampa 2 guy.
