It's not known yet what the settlement was, but this should draw a close to the Burress being an idiot and the Giants having to pay him for it episode. Hoo-rah!
Before they could completely rid themselves of the distraction and headache that Plaxico Burress evolved into the New York Giants first had to deal with a second grievance their former receiver filed against them. The Giants have come up with a settlement with Burress and now can turn the page and move on. Burress back in December filed a second grievance against the team, claiming that he should not have lost slightly more than $1 million based on the Giants suspending him for the final four games of the season and docking him one game-check.
