There's been some rumblings about Plaxico Burress recently after a report said that Burress could be released soon and that the Giants would investigate the idea of bringing him back. GM Jerry Reese said that he would look into it just like he would look into any other situation that could potentially improve the team and wide receiver Steve Smith said the other day that he would welcome Burress back. It still sounds like a long shot and Burress still has a lot of hoops to jump through in order to get out and play again.
