The site is in need of help from it's members. We are looking for members who are willing and able to find and post NFL news on the site. We really need people who can help from 10am-3pm EST and 3:30pm-8:00 EST. This is the time the site is the busiest. Having news coverage is key to the site as we need to stay current with the news and be relevant to our visitors. Anyone who is interested should be versed in using basic forum code. (like using bold, italic and link codes) (Please note: NFL News Reporters need to post 3 news posts MINIMUM per day. That averages out to 21 per week and 84 during a 4-week month.) If you are willing and able please contact me via PM. This issue is of the utmost importance to the site's success and we need people who want to help the site grow and succeed.
NFL Reporters cover all 32 teams. It's pretty much a race to be the first to scoop the news and post it here.
Tru Dat. Posting is easy. Finding it first with out an AP tag is the leg work. Posting NFL News here according to SRW's standards is not hard to get a handle on. This RSS thingy makes finding it easier. And do not worry about the edits. My Tomb Stone is gonna read: POST EDITED. Come on People, GIF needs help and I want some competition. I guesstimate I put up at least 50 or so a week, some weeks being better than others. The Quota is 21 a weak. Come on, some days I put up 21!!!
I know I'm fairly new here but I'm more or less doing this already for a danish site so if you can use me I'm willing to help here as well.
think i could get a press pass? then we could put up original stories and sites would link to us. i think i already know the answer but it's worth a try.
I contacted Arrowhead about getting a press pass and they told me what I needed to do. Just never did it.
A press pass? The NFL is very strict about who they give press passes to. They won't give a press pass to an organization unless they have an actual printed medium with a large circulation number.
not sure about that srw, what about radio stations? also tony lombardi from ravens24x7.com has one. so does mike florio from pft
I have friends that do a Bucs Internet Radio show for awhile they had a press pass then the league yanked it because they're internet bloggers ;\
Back in my Radio Days, I was credentialed. The press box is a serious place of work. No hooting and hollering, no high fives etc. Boring. I left at halftime one came to go party with my people. That is where I belong. And still filed my report.
