    We thought it would be cool to have our own NFL awards here at GIF. I will post the nomination threads where members can nominate players/coaches for each award. The thread will be left up for a few days, then I'll post a vote thread so everyone can vote on the nominees. The winners will be posted after the polls close, and we can seed how close GIF's predictions are to the real thing.

    Mike Shanahan will win the NFC East for the Redskins, riding a rookie QB, a rookie RB, a shaky OL, no big name receiving targets other than the aging Santana Moss; lost Brian Orakpo and Adam Carriker early, and their W-L record before the bye was 3-6. How has he not been mentioned yet?

    And if Stinky Pete somehow wins this award I'm gonna flip out and the PRs I co-write with TJ will suffer.
