GIF NFL Offensive Player Of The Year Voting Thread

After a great turnout in the Nomination threads, it's time to get the voting started! GIF has spoken, and the Nominees are set. Now is the time for everyone to make their case for the person they think should win each award. The voting threads will be left up for a week or so, so everyone has plenty of time to debate and vote. After the voting is done, we'll wait and see how close we are to the actual NFL winners.

Peterson is carrying his team to the layoffs. Johnson is racking up stats when his team is down by 20. That's the tie breaker for me.

true but the vikings arent a lock to make it yet and calvin might be the first receiver to have 2000 yards. Just the thought of jerry rices record and 2000 yards for a receiver did it for me. Plus the award isnt really about the team thats mvp this is more about the most explosive offensive player. Both good candidate though no doubt.

 

Yea i'm not arguing against Johnson so much as for Peterson. I love Johnson and i'm extremely impressed by the season he's had. Its definitely not a bad vote. But to me, the extra load of carrying a winning team factors into the equation.

 

I got confused and voted Peyton. I meant AD but I don't think it'll matter much in the end.

 

Voted Peterson, although it'd be well deserved if Calvin Johnson got it. On top of all the struggles he's had to deal with this season, he beat the Madden Curse.

Adrian Peterson got the edge over Megatron because he might actually go to the playoffs.

 

this was a tough choice for me. i was between manning peterson and Johnson. Johnson ended up getting my vote cause he set a new record thats what put him over the top for me

 

gotta give Megatron some love here. Can't let AP get the trifecta.
