    Here is how its gonna

-Pick a player now from your team that may not be a household name to those outside the fanbase

    - In this thread, give your initial expectations of him, can be as detailed or as vague as you want

-Starting the first week of Preseaon , I'll start a thread after every game and you give a progress report on
1: how your player did the last game.
2: How your player has done overall ( in preseaon, include camp performance, during the season factor in previous games) 3: What you expect in the coming weeks (key matchups......ect)

This can all be detailed, or short and sweet

    Mine is Mike Hamlin

I expect Mike to lock down the starting FS spot by the 3rd preseason game, and be a steady FS for us. Im thinking Gabril Wilson when he was a quality Safety for NY level

Nick Cole. ALOT riding on him taking a big step forward this year. In his two starts against the Cowturds he clearly wasn't ready to control the O line. We'll see if an offseason of prep can change things.

Paul Kruger. 2nd year man drafted in the 2nd round as a OLB I believe but this offseason we've had him bulk up to around 270ish to play DE. It'd be nice to see him work himself into a regular situational slot where he consistently gets put on in passing situations. We've got a lot of big run stuffing linemen but a better pass rush would go along ways towards making us a better team - part of that falls on Kruger.

Brian Hartline. He had a very good year as a rookie, he plays hard and is not afraid of contact. Now with Marshall taking on double teams, Hartline is in line to have one of the better years in the NFL. My favorite play of his starts at 3:55.

    I'll adopt Jonathan Dwyer.

Dwyer was drafted in the 6th Round of the 2010 draft out of Georgia Tech. He was a highly touted RB until he had a poor combine and tested positive for amphetamines. The medication is supposedly for Dwyer's attention deficit disorder.

Dwyer probably won't get a ton of PT, but I'd like to see him sprinkled in every now and again to see what he's got. He probably won't be ready to carry the rock full-time any time soon, but I'd like to see some nice hard runs out of him here and there to eventually spell Mendenhall...probably in 2011.

    Favorite run is at :49.

Dannell Ellerbe. Undrafted second-year player. MLB could start next to Ray Lewis. Great towards the end of last season. He's got good speed and coverage skills. I look for him to have a solid year and make that spot a strength, not the weakness it's been since Bart Scott left.

ramon foster... was the LT at tennessee and went undrafted due to some very poor workouts. he will be a starter the steelers offensive line at either RG or RT and maybe even both during the course of the season

brakos82 30% more cats than last year!

David Anderson... is biggest claim to fame is Conan's 'String Dance', more-so than his uncanny ability to pick up first downs when the offense called on him, especially after Owen Daniels went down for the season. He also happens to double as a stand-up comic and dance instructor.

Chris Clemons this guy has speed and is physical, maybe not perfect fit as FS but i'm sure Mike Nolan will be able fine tune this athlete and use him to his full potential. On special teams this past season it was exciting to watch him so definitely looking forward to see what progress this kid makes. Former UM basketball star who joins the football team for the 2009 season as a tight end ... Big, physical athlete who was one of only eight players in UM history with 100 or more career blocks.

As a college basketball player for three years, he's a project. But the Saints like his 4.50 speed, 38 1/2-inch vertical leap and the fact he had five TDs on only 17 receptions last year.

i expect him to be shockey's replacement. since he comes from "the U" shockey has already taken him under his wing.

THat's a good one. I'm expecting the same from him...thought he was a great pick up for the Saints.
