Has anyone here seen the trailer for the new Fox show, Gotham? I may have to give this a look. Here's the trailer.
You'll not just find out the origin of a young Bruce Wayne, you'll find out the origins of the Riddler, Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Poison Ivy, etc.
That's what I am more interested in. Just wondering if it will ever get to the point where he becomes Batman. Could be really cool show, but j could also see it be horribly bad and drag out too much...
I take it as a no. that is what I heard elsewhere also. No Batman reference. I mean Bruce is only 12 so it would take a long time. Probably the last show of the series will show him donning the cowl and standing in the glow of a full moon, spreading his cape and fade to black.
The show's first season will consist of 16 episodes. Hope Fox is patient with it. Fox didn't do the show any favors by scheduling it on Monday night opposite CBS's Monday night comedies and ABC's combo of The Bachelor/The Bachelorette and DWTS. They may have to move it to another night before all is said and done.
i really see zero conflict with ABC. nobody expects the bimbos who watch those shows to have any interest in gotham anyway.
It should be a really great series since it deals with commissioner gordon and his relationship with the city and eventually,bruce wayne.maybe if it runs long it enough,it will get to just how gordon influenced the younger bruce wayne how he should become the ultimate crime fighter.
