A Manhattan grand jury will hear the case against the gun-toting Super Bowl hero next month, raising the possibility of a trial that could bench Plaxico Burress this season. Although Burress' next scheduled court appearance is Sept. 23, the timetable could change depending on when the grand jury reaches a decision, Manhattan District Attorney Robert Morgenthau said yesterday.
