What are some of the great things you've heard about current or past players involving training that make you think "wow?" I was reading another board and someone mentioned Walter Payton could push the 5 man sled with people on it from goal line to goal line. I also read he would put rocks in a back pack and run the stadium steps. Michael Vick (taboo to drop the name I know but still a freak athlete) once threw a football from the free throw line of 1 half of a basketball court into the hoop at the other end at a party when he was in high school I believe. Any crazy things you've heard? I know there's a lot of football knowledge on this board and I personally love hearing things like this. It really makes me appreciate how great these athletes are.
I'm sure most of you have seen it but its John Wendling a saftey from Wyoming that we(the Bills) drafted this past year
^^^ Damn impressive. I read in Sports Illustrated a couple weeks ago, Adrian Wilson the safety could do the same thing, not sure if it was as high. Wilson cleared 66 inches. How high was that? It looks close to 6 feet.
i heard a story during an espn college football game once about a coach watching a player jump over a car. don't remember who it was though
It's the same height 66 inches heres adrians: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vL19q8yL54"]YouTube - 66 Inch Jump by Adrian Wilson[/ame]

Not sure if this is what you were looking for but.....from everything I ever heard....Roger Craig and Jerry Rice had the best training reiments ever.... Then again Bobby Lane was pretty good and he just drank heavily.
