Ive been thinking about sleepers all season and finally i came to the conclusion that the ultimate sleeper would be Devin thomas from the washington redskins if they dont acquire vincent jackson. He started to really c'mon late in the season last year with a good late season finish, and that could only get better with a better quarterback, and alot better of an offensive line to give the recievers more time to develop into there routes. Whos your sleeper?
If Jerome Harrison keeps thinking he can hold out for more money, Montario Hardesty could wind up being a nice sleeper in later rounds. Word is that with Harrison out and Hardesty getting the extra reps, he's been looking good...but then again, you're talking the Cleveland Browns...
everyone is saying to stay away from Dez Bryant, but I think he has the potential to be a big part of the Dallas passing attack.
The problem with Bryant is that he is in competition with Austin and Witten for receptions and the running game in the redzone. Not to sound like a homer but I think Hartline will have a very good fantasy year. As well as Michael Bush.
Johnny Knox is a guy I'm keeping my eye on...not exactly an unknown after last year but a guy who could be looking at a huge year in a Martz system if all goes well. Think Torry Holt. Knox is perfect for a Martz offense...slightly undersized sure, but speedy quick and elusive as all get out. I hear Aromashodu's name a lot as a potential breakout guy on that squad but my moneys on Knox if it's anyone. Both of the Houston RB's (Tate, Slaton) are worth late round fliers IMO. I think Tate gets a notable amount of carries regardless of whether or not Slaton gets over his fumbalaya issues, and potentially a LOT if Slaton continues to struggle. If Slaton gets his act together he definitely has the ability to be PPR gold and maybe more.
I don't think Slaton will last until late rounds in most drafts. People will still draft him based on what he did two years ago. Arian Foster might steal some carries away in Houston as well...
There are no sleepers anymore. Only studs and unknowns, so much is about ADP in fantasy drafts, that people rarely make true sleeper reaches and even less do they work out when they do. That being said, Matt Forte is a bit of a sleeper considering he is lasting to the 5th round in a lot of drafts I have seen.
