Former New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Anthony Hargrove submitted a signed declaration to the NFL in April detailing how he was instructed to lie to the NFL by current and former Saints assistant coaches Joe Vitt and Gregg Williams in 2010 about the team's bounty program. "Those [mother------- at the NFL] have been trying to get me for years,â€￾ Williams apparently told Hargrove during a February 2010 meeting. Williams also said that if the team stays "on the same page, this will blow over." Hargrove was given an eight-game suspension (which he is now appealing) after the NFL said he participated in the bounty program and lied about it to NFL investigators. According to the document, Hargrove met with investigators in March 2010 and denied the existence of the program.

Holy crap. This really does get better and better. What happens to Vitt now?

Nothing. Goodell is a spineless c**t. He'll get 2 or 3 games maybe. The Saints should just run a "Coach The Saints For A Week" promotion with their fans and just let that happen.

Give Vitt a whole season a well. You lie or tell someone else to lie, the punishment is only going to get worse. Whether else happens to Vitt remains to be seen though.
