With the Bucs going to 9-3, I have to wonder what you guys and gals think about the Bucs so far this season. After pulling out wins against the Chiefs, Vikes, Lions, and the Saints in the past 4 weeks how do you see the Bucs thus far?

I'd say tough.....they're just a blue collar team that gets it done one way or another. So I'd say you could use all 3 of the words scrappy, gritty and lucky.

Any team that is 9-3 is a good team in my eyes.

Being a Falcons fan, I loathe the Bucs! :) BUTT!!!... They have superb defense, play all 4 quarters, and never, EVER quit! I agree with DD13, all three words = the Tampa Bay Bucs. Having said that, it will be interesting to see you guys next year without Monte Kiffin running the D. You guys MUST be apprehensive at that thought.

Raheem Morris should do a decent job if Monte jumps ship.

Very Scrappy in my opinion always a tough team to play, Big game Monday could decide the division

Well, I have my loyalties, obviously, but it seems to me that NO ONE in the media is talking about this team, especially with how well Garcia, Ruud, and Brooks, among several other players, have been playing so far. My guess is they'll be lucky to get any players voted to the Pro Bowl, and that's a shame, because there are several worthy candidates...

Suedon, I so agree with you on all counts. Obviously, I am a huge Garcia fan (Interesting story on Tampa Bay Online - tbo.com - "Odds say Garcia throws less INTs than Delhomme"), so I'm biased there, but even so. SOME of the TB Defense should see the pro bowl!! The TB fan base isn't as big as in the larger markets (dallas, ny, etc.), but once the players and coaches vote, I'd be very surprised not to see some of them on that roster. I'd also like to see Matt Bryant on there. Tampa Bay has every bit of a chance as seeing the SB as any other team. The bucs are under rated, but what a better way to come to the forefront than going all the way????

All of the above. When you scrap and stay in games then the luck goes your way sometimes. Tough team that plays all areas well. Nothing super anywhere just solid all around.

I'm really hoping Ruud & Brooks are rewarded with a trip to Hawaii in February....:drinks:

We've got to improve our offense a bit though. At the moment, the running game seems to be getting nothing. As for the defense, well that was a shocker on Monday Night but I reckon that will be a one off. We've got to win against Atlanta, that game is gonna be absolutely vital for us because after that, it's 2 home games vs San Diego and then vs Oakland :icon_cheesygrin:

But I reckon our team will be ready! If memory serves me right, we're usually good against Atlanta and I pray that our D will be totally fired up, especially against the run.

We always play well against Atl. I think the performance by the defense Monday night was just one of those games. Don't think Brooks and the boys aren't out for blood this weekend.
