Gruden's QB Camp: Jimmy Clausen - ESPN Video - ESPN I wonder if he ripped into Sam Bradford, Tim Tebow and Colt McCoy like this. Seriously, I don't get why ESPN seem to be content in kicking him down yet boasting weaker prospects.
are you freaking kidding me? first of all he was "we" as in NFL head coaches second he loves TEBOW of all possible prospects and he basically taunts clausen the best out of all of them on one of a total of FOUR interception he threw last year. unreal, gruden needs to be clubbed to death with a hammer
I think it's just given us more weaponry against ESPN's extreme bias towards certain players. Gruden knew about Clausen's alledged character issues and tried to score himself a big time story by baiting Jimmy into making a mistake. For me, watching Clausen listen to that and not biting on it has given me more respect to the guy. Anyway, he's threw four picks (two of them being on Hail Mary's) behind a shocking line, with one target, whilst playing with a mangled toe. Matt Ryan threw 19 INT's in his senior year, JaMarcus was ridiculously prone to poor decisions at LSU, where were their ESPN lynch mobs? I would love to know why ESPN hate this kid so much. Infact, I want to see him as our pick even more so, just to watch him succeed and give the middle finger to Gruden, McShay and the rest of those motherheckers at ESPN.
Honestly, I don't think any of them are going to be THAT successful. At least not immediately. This is a weaker QB class to me in terms of having all the credentials needed to succeed, especially on the teams they'll be going to. Tebow has the best chance based on the fact that I think whatever team takes him will take him with the intent of sitting him for a while.
That's just the typical Jon Gruden if you ask me.. (We miss him) **********Automerged Doublepost********** Give Tim Tebow a break man, Nobody's perfect.. He still has an Huge Upside.
he has very limited upside lol, the most he will bring as a QB is the love of jesus i couldnt even type that with a straight face
i like the segment gruden is doing....he's great at the media side of this job and he's giving us a look into the scouting and interviewing of these players that goes on behind the scenes that most of us have no idea about
This guys is such a QB Guru that his biggest trait he looks for in one of his QB's is "already coached by someone else"
Why the heck was Gruden telling him that shouldn't be in the tape? Does he think that he made the tape himself and put that interception in there?
If he were a real coach/not a goober, Clausen might have had his feelings hurt. Luckily for him, it was John Gruden.
everyone please focus on him taking notes, its histerical. like hes gonna go back and refer to jon grudens comment of not putting stuff like that one tape and make only good decisons lol
That would of been fine if Gruden would have ripped everyone on negative plays, but he was all over Tebow's nuts, and didn't rag on Bradford or McCoy too much either, then he just verbally craps on Clausen. What logic is that? Prove your an idiot by any means neccessary is the name of the game.
