He made the comment about being hot at the right time in regards to the St Louis Cardinals. Isn't that what all playoffs are about playing your best ball when the playoffs begin? Look at last year's NY Giants, the Steelers won the Super Bowl from the wildcard position. There are numerous examples of teams that in all sports that dont have the best record but win their respective title, so for him to use that as an example as to why the Divisional format doesn't work is idiotic.
Thats typical Steinbrenner fashion. If something doesn't go their way, they find a way to snitch about it.
People like him are the reason ALL of the little league kids get a trophy at the end of the year instead of just the champs.
