Simple how would you rate him as a starting QB. Ill do it grade wise, with an exapmle A= Future All Pro A- = Future Pro Bowler B = Quality Starter B- = Adequate Starter C= Fringe Starter C- = Spot starter F= Backup
B without question. A lot of the sports talk show authorities around here make fun of Orton for some reason. They say things like, "What would the Colts be if they had Orton as their QB rather than Manning?". Their lack of knowledge about him is disgusting. Orton is an excellent short to intermediate passer. He reminds me of Pennington, just much healthier.
By that grading system, I'd have to say A-, pretty good chance that he'll be a probowler this year, if he keeps it up. Like most everyone else said though, B, quality starter.
He's a B to A- right now on the Denver Broncos. But, he's only 27. He's 6 or 7 years younger than Brady and Manning so even if he doesn't make it to the Probowl this year (he should), those spots will open up. In the future, he's an A- at a minimum But, I gave him an A because he's my fantasy QB.
Playing at a B lately but still a B- until he proves it a bit longer for me. Biggest thing for his career was just getting out of Chicago where QBs go to die. Might, just might end up an A- down the road.
