If the Rivers-Manning trade never happened, do you think it would be Philip Rivers winning 2 Championships in New York or do you think Manning could have still led the Chargers to the Super Bowl. Or would neither scenario ever happen?
Who knows? Rivers got hurt in the 07 season, would that have still happened? Would the Chargers even make the playoffs with Manning (Giants defense is a lot better)? How good would Rivers have been playing early on with the NY media? How good would Manning be if he sat out his first 2 years? Either way I think the deal worked for both teams.
