If You Had To Predict The Playoff 12 Now...

What teams are you putting your money on? Yeah i know its early... but here's where i stand...

Here are my early playoff 12.

    AFC:
1.Jaguars(They are looking to be unstoppable this coming up season... look for 13-14 wins...)
2.Steelers(Tough schedule.. but they have the talent and depth to make a great run)
3.Patriots(Vetrans and that intact Oline keep them going strong... but i give them only 11 wins and an early loss in the playoffs)
4.Chargers(in what i would call the weakest division in the AFC they will make the playoffs yet again)
5.Colts(I think the jags finally take the division, and the colts take a wc)
6.Browns(this was close between the browns and texans... and although i think the browns are going ot be a good team... the texans will make some noise.)

    NFC:

1.Cowboys(In a tough Division i say they pull out in front with a 12-4 record)
2.Panthers(yes... a bit homerish i know... But we are going to make some real noise this season, just watch)
3.Packers(With new QB Rodgers i look for this young team to take the division)
4.Cardinals/Seahawks (Hard to say... The Seahawks have A great coach and an experienced team, but with their reciever woes can they win? The cardinals have alot of talent... but have they had a winning season in recent memory... i think this could be they're breakout year..)
5.Eagles(This team is stacked with talent... I see McNabb and West giving them another playoff run.. maybe another NFC championship loss ;P )
6.Buccaneers(Alot of talent. But i see the panthers and them tying in record but the cats hold the tiebreaker)

Early to say anything... but if i had to predict today... this is where i would put my money.

I could see the 6 in the AFC.

NFC I would take out Tampa, add the Saints. Take out the Seahags and Cardinals and add this years surprise team the St. Louis Rams.

I don't see much changing in the AFC this year. I don't see the Packers being as good without Favre at the helm I think they can make it via wild card though. NFC south and west?....who knows for sure..

With the Steelers schedule, if they have the littlest slip up, they could be out...

    DaBearsrule4ever Hall Of Famer

    AFC
    1. Patriots: Still no competetion in the AFC East.
    2. Colts: The Jaguars give them a run for their money in the AFC South but hold on by the skin of their teeth.
    3. Chargers: Still no competetion in the AFC West.
    4. Steelers: The Browns I honestly think will be overhyped.
    5. Jaguars: The Jaguars will be a dangerous #5 seed in the AFC.
    6. Browns: After just missing the playoffs in 2007, they make it in 2008.

    NFC
    1. Cowboys: They win the division but by the skin of their teeth this year.
    2. Vikings: I wanna barf putting them at this spot.
    3. Saints: After a let down in 2007, they bounce back strong in 2008.
    4. Seahawks: The Seahawks make it 5 division crowns in a row.
    5. Eagles: If McNabb stays healthy, the Eagles get a wild card spot.
    6. Giants: I don't see them going on a roll to end the season but I see them backing into the playoffs and New York calling for Tom Caughlin's job AGAIN.

I just don't see the Vikings Making it. With no real QB, and i just don't think AP will have the same year as last year. I'm expecting a sophomore slump :icon_cheesygrin:

The past 4 years, the team that finished last in the NFC South won the division the next year.

  15. Ridin Burgundy

Ridin Burgundy on the Magic Bandwagon

But that doesn't mean they will this year. Non of the other teams were rebuilding like the Falcons are and all had the key players in place already.

  16. ravenfan52

Whatever, I see the mysterious streak continuing. A lot of these lists are way too normal. On average, six playoff teams from one year don't make it back the next. It's really pathetic to think that last year will be the same as this year.

  17. Ridin Burgundy

Ridin Burgundy on the Magic Bandwagon

I don't think it will be anything close to the same as last year I just disagree about the Falcons. Theres no point making different predictions for the hell of it.
Its more pathetic to put that rather than what you really think.
