Less than a week into camp, the Panthers are nearly running out of runners. RB Mike Goodson went down Sunday with a left ankle injury that head coach John Fox said wasn’t break, but that was the extent of his knowledge. The Panthers already were short with Jonathan Stewart who is recovering from offseason Achilles surgery and Tyrell Sutton who has a minor calf strain. Goodson’s injury left DeAngelo Williams and Josh Vaughan as the only healthy backs for the last 45 minutes of practice Sunday.

If the injuries keep on mounting up, we can pretty much kiss our chances for the post-season goodbye.
